Successful European Mobility Week (EMW) 2023
As part of European Mobility Week (EMW) 2023, the event on September 21 was a resounding success. In collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda(MITMA) and the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge(MITECO), Companies for Sustainable Mobility organized the exhibition 'Combine and move in a healthy way. Solutions for Low Emission Zones' in the gardens of Nuevos Ministerios. Here is a summary of everything that happened at this event.
A Successful Event at SEM 2023
The exhibition 'Combine and move in a healthy way' became one of the highlights of SEM 2023. This event was held in support of the European Commission's campaign and was part of the official agenda of the "Conference on Low Emission Zones in Spain" organized by MITMA and MITECO. The Spanish Sustainable Mobility Week Awards were also presented during this event.
Outstanding Exhibition Participants
The exhibition was attended by numerous companies, public and private institutions that presented innovative solutions related to sustainable mobility. Among the most outstanding participants were:
- YUP: Highlighting with MURWA and Urban Art YUP, one of the participating companies, not only presented its innovative modular parking for micromobility, MURWA, but also brought urban art to the event. A professional graffiti artist teamed up with YUP to create a live art piece depicting sustainable mobility. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in the creation of this unique artwork.
New Ministries as Main Stage
The Nuevos Ministerios gardens served as the main stage for the exhibition. This space hosted exhibits of zero-emission solutions and vehicles to meet the needs of individual mobility and public services, such as waste removal and public transport.
Thematic Zones for the Exhibition
La exposición se dividió en diversas zonas temáticas, incluyendo logística y distribución de última milla, micromovilidad en entornos urbanos, infraestructuras de recarga e interoperabilidad, descarbonización del transporte, innovación en la nueva movilidad, y más.
Premios Internacionales de Movilidad
Durante la jornada, se presentó la 4ª Edición de los Premios Internacionales de Movilidad, organizados por Empresas por la Movilidad Sostenible en colaboración con diversas instituciones. Estos premios buscan reconocer y destacar las buenas prácticas e iniciativas en movilidad, tanto en el sector público como privado. El plazo para presentar candidaturas finalizará el 22 de febrero de 2024 y la entrega de premios será en mayo.
En resumen, la exposición ‘Combina y muévete de forma saludable. Soluciones para las ZBE’ en la SEM 2023 fue un evento exitoso que reunió a empresas líderes en movilidad sostenible, instituciones relevantes y presentó innovaciones que prometen un futuro más limpio y sostenible en la movilidad urbana.
