Sabadell hospital installs sixteen parking spaces for free scooters with chargers

With the new free parking spaces for scooters with chargers, anyone who rides an electric scooter at Taulí can now park it safely. The Sabadell hospital has recently opened eight safe parking spots for users and another eight for workers. They are free of charge and at the same time allow the vehicle to be charged and the helmet to be stored.

The first ones are located at the entrance of the new Taulí building, to the left of the main door. In fact, the good response from users has led the center's management to consider expanding them. The second, which can only be accessed by professionals, is next to Santa Fe, where there is already a secure bicycle parking area for employees in an enclosed, video-monitored space, although unlike the first, this one is uncovered.

To use the new free scooter parking spaces with a charger, the scooter must be placed in an available space and the charger can be connected to the socket or use the installed charging systems. When closing the door, turn the knob upwards and enter an easy-to-remember four-digit code twice. After entering the code, make sure that the door is closed and the knob is facing upwards. To open the door again, simply enter the code once and turn the knob. Taulí recommends using each person's own padlock to attach the scooter to the parking base for double security.

With this measure, the Taulí wants to promote the use of sustainable means to reach the hospital, just as it can be reached on foot, by bicycle, bus or private vehicle.
